Ice Risk Assessment for Great Lakes Offshore Wind
I develop modeling frameworks that translate long-term ice conditions into engineering design information for offshore wind platforms in the Great Lakes. This work integrates historical and simulated environmental data with ice-load assessment to support resilient offshore renewable-energy development in cold-climate regions.
The project demonstrates an independent research direction at the intersection of marine structures, environmental data science, and sustainable energy systems.
