Experimental Fluid-Structure Interaction of Compliant Marine Structures

My experimental research examined hydrodynamic loading and structural response during water entry and oscillatory motion of compliant structures. I designed and assembled experiments that integrated high-speed imaging, Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), Stereoscopic Digital Image Correlation (S-DIC), image processing, and towing-tank testing.

The work established experimental and theoretical tools for studying hydroelasticity, spray-root propagation, and flexible-body response in marine applications.
